Summary

Scale Audio Solutions builds the SAS-FX sound module and the SAS-FX mobile app. We take privacy seriously and collect as little information as possible. In plain English:

• The mobile app talks to your SAS-FX module over Bluetooth. It does not track your location.
• The mobile app does not collect ads, analytics, or contacts.
• If you create a customer account on our website, we store your email and a hashed password so you can sign back in.
• We do not sell your data. Ever.

What the mobile app collects

Nothing personal. The app is a Bluetooth remote control for a hardware module you already own. All communication is direct between your phone and the module. Nothing is sent to our servers from the app.

The app requests these permissions:

• Bluetooth Scan — to find your module.
• Bluetooth Connect — to send sound updates and read status.

We declare to Google Play that our use of Bluetooth never derives physical location.

What the website collects (only if you sign up)

Creating a free customer account on this website stores:

• Your email address (used to sign in and to send account-related emails).
• A one-way hashed password (we cannot recover your password; we can only reset it).

When you use the online audio workshop, the audio files you upload are processed and returned to you. We do not permanently retain uploaded audio, and it is never shared or used for training any model.

Data we do NOT collect

• Location, GPS, or Wi-Fi network data
• Contacts, calendar, photos, or files (beyond what you explicitly upload to the workshop)
• Advertising IDs or third-party analytics
• Browsing history, keystrokes, or other tracking

Data storage & security

Website account data is stored on secure servers with encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your website account and associated data at any time by emailing us. We will complete the deletion within 30 days.

Children

The SAS-FX mobile app and website are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For substantive changes affecting registered customers, we will notify you by email.
